Artist Narsis Rafati was born in Tehran, Iran, and currently resides in Lyon, France. Her impressive higher educational background commenced in Iran with a bachelor’s degree in economy, a master’s degree in sociology, and a master’s degree in art. In France, her studies continued at Lyon University, accomplishing a third master’s degree in art history and globalization. Narsis is a member of the prestigious French Art Mondial Academia and is a member of the International Watercolor Society.
While her primary medium is watercolor, Narsis also loves to work in acrylics and oils while creating her colorful and graceful nature and figure compositions. You can find her work in the various exhibitions in which she participates and organizes around the world. In fact, she is collaborating with Rumi Tree for a spring 2023 online exhibition featuring not only her work, but artworks of talented emerging Persian artists as well.
